About us
Kobie Kooling is a family owned and operated air-conditioning and heating company that serves southwest Florida. The Kobie name has been associated with professional air conditioning services ever since “Poppie” Kobie founded Harry J. Kobie and Sons in 1949.
Our Story
The Kobie Kooling today was founded by four Kobie Brothers on Thanksgiving day in 1995. The sons were all taught by their father, who had been in the air conditioning business for decades. The company has since grown to close to 50 employees including a complete service team of N.A.T.E certified mechanics. The company is owned and operated by Fred Kobie, Mark Kobie and Mike Cunningham. Fred Kobie III has also become a license holder for the company. Kobie Kooling’s highest standard is to be a completely N.A.T.E certified staff. This certifications ensures that when we send you a tested mechanic, and not just a sales technician. Our team routinely maintains and replaces commercial and residential units.
